Things To Do in Montreal – Visit Jean-Talon Market

Montreal is an oysters lovers paradise! We enjoyed over 24 oysters at Marché Jean-Talon Market, which is also one of the biggest in the city. Market food is really good in Montreal, and just in this market you can find Romanian food, Mexican food, Lebanese food, Italian food, and others, but we went to the market for Oysters and nothing else! The kids enjoyed some fried coconut scallops while they let us feast on our double dozen. Delicious!

About me: My name is Daniel Babis and I love to travel. I also love food. In my videos, you will see me and Robyn tackle every obstacle that traveling with kids throws at us. We do traveling almost exactly the same way as we do before having any kids, it just takes a little bit more planning. But it’s even more fun and more rewarding to be able to show them new cultures and live new experiences with them at the same time! My 6-year-old daughter, Ava, also has her own YouTube channel. Feel free to check it out right here.

It’s a miracle the way you can join pleasure and duty in the same time, in special with 3 littles girls that want to touch everything”)

We love Montreal. When we visited we didn’t get to go to this market though. Definitely must experience next time.

I’ve always wanted to go to Montreal. Isn’t it fascinating how there are different foods and that foods are prepared differently in different areas!

I haven’t been to Montreal before, but it sounds like a lovely place to visit. I am in NH and I know there’s the Canadian border about 3-4 hours away. Some day I will have to visit and check out this market.

Well, I am personally not a big fan of oysters or any seafood for that matter. However, these look like something my family members would love! You are brave to travel with 3 little ones.

What a great market. I have heard many things about it as I live only hours away. It’s great the kids are getting well cultured

I think traveling with kids is fun. We’ve always taken ours and I’d miss them if they weren’t along. 🙂 Glad you got your seafood fix.
